Everyone knows that Kanye West is a jerk. He even knows it, which is evident in his new song "Runaway" (which is an awesome song by the way). Kanye has been complaining of his lack of awards (which is ok because he deserves them) and stole the mic away from a very very hot country singer.
I seriously don't care about what Kanye does i think he's the man. He makes great music. But we already did this blog. So peaceeeeeeeeeee

Derek Jeter = Oscar nominee?
Derek Jeter tries to win by any means necessary, minus steroids. He showed this in Wednesday's game versus the Rays.
Top of the Seventh, Yankees are down 2-1, Chad Qualls on the mound. Qualls pitches inside and hits Jeter.
Or did he?
Replays show that the ball hit off the end of the bat, not Jeter's left arm. Manager Joel Madden was ejected by the home plate umpire Lance Barksdale after arguing. Regardless, Jeter took first and Curtis Granderson came up to bat. Granderson went yard and brought the Yankees ahead 3-2.
The Rays would eventually come back, but controversy swirls around one of baseball's most loved players. Jeter admitted to his acting skills after the game. There's no doubt to me that there would be more uproar if the Yanks had won.
My view of Jeter has not changed. To be honest, I've done similar shenanigans in my baseball games. I didn't try to sell it though, I just went for first. What's the umpire gonna do?
I know they're two totally different environments and scsenarios, but human error is a huge part of baseball, so let 'em make errors.

Calvin Johnson TD
Anyone close to football knows about the Calvin Johnson controversy that happened over the weekend. Trailing 19-14, the lions drove down the field and went to their main receiver for the win. Johnson made a great catch and fell to the ground. Thinking the pass would be ruled complete, he let go of the ball as he hit the ground. The ref ruled it incompletely, and rightfully so, Calvin freaked. And the whole football world freaked.
I freaked. Calvin's on my fantasy team. I don't need those 6 points, but do i want them? yes. I think the NFL should go over protocol for common plays like that.
