Santa's Nice List/Team Project Reflection

If you haven't purchased one yet, I recommend you buy "Bored With Sleighbells" by Derek Sprang and the Mistletoes.  The first song on it is called "Santa's Nice List" by Jordan Alamat and Jacob Ruff, and it is the hottest track to hit Irondale ever.  I make a ridiculous amount of Harry Potter references and it's kind of nerdy but it flows so it's all good.  They are 5 dollars.  The rest of the songs are classic christmas song covers, performed by Derek Sprang and friends, and they will bring a tear to your eye.  So keep that in mind...

This project was very easy.  I feel like I deserve an A because I put my heart and soul into this, and I think you'll enjoy my presentation.  And there weren't any typos and i answered all the questions, which is typical protocol for an A.  I could improve on how it looks though because I was kind of rushed with animations and such.  I'm wondering what were going to do for the next 6 weeks because I felt like this was the high point of the semester.  But i believe in you Ms. N!!  I am fine with whatever we have to do.

Field Trip Stuff

My favorite part was the champions club.  That was so cool.  Also seeing the locker room was pretty cool.

I think changes proposed are not necessary, but they will make the stadium so cool.  Wi Fi was a complaint of mine because it would like to check out other scores of games or other stuff going on.  The twins tower and scoreboard will be dece.  Target Field rules

Michael Beasley scores career high 42 points in the T-Wolves' victory over the Kings

"It was more about getting the win than me scoring 42 points," Beasley said. "We were moving the ball well, played great defence, and got their best player (Evans) out of the game early."

I think this alternative logo is way sicker than the regular one.  But they're both pretty dece
Michael Beasley, like a good teammate, turns the attention away from his great performance to his team's performance.  What a guy.  If you haven't gone to a Timberwolves game this year i highly recommend you should.

not as ugly as Charlie Villanueva... but it's pretty close

The Timberwolves defeated the Sacramento Kings 99-94 on Wednesday, led by Michael Beasley's 42 points.  Also in the news is former Timberwolves Forward Kevin Garnett.

Bulls Center Joakim Noah called KG ugly.  Good one Joakim.  Joakim also accuses KG of being mean to rookies and european players.
Joakim used to love KG back in the day.  Like us Minnesotans.  But then KG was mean to him and Noah has said numerous times that he is no longer a fan of KG.  I don't think anyone is anymore.

KG/Charlie Villanueva Incident

So at the Pistons-Celtics game, Charlie Villanueva said that KG called him a "cancer patient," because (im guessing) Charlie Villanueva is bald and he bares a resemblance to someone that has gone through chemo (at least that is the angle he is taking, kinda wack)
Poor guy... he is a very ugly human being though.  But he has millions of dollars.  Don't feel bad for him

KG has retorted by saying that he called Villanueva a cancerous to his team/the league.

KG has said some dumb things recently.  I'm not sure if i like him anymore.  Ever since he left Minnesota he's been kind of a jerk.  What happened to Randy too?  They used to be the face of Minnesota.  Now they're old, underperforming complainers.  They used to be sooooo cool.  Whatever

the way they talk > the way they play

That's the story

Vikes Stadium

For the record, i've disliked Brett Favre since last off season.  He's a packer.  I do not endorse a new stadium until he is gone.  ok.

I think public funding should be used for a new Vikings.  I wrote an entire paper on this last year and all the arrows point to building a new stadium.  The Dome, even though it's so sweet, is holding the Vikings back.  They are forfeiting so much money because the Dome can't provide for them.  Plus the Vikings are a huge asset to Minnesota, bringing jobs and revenue to more than just the Vikings (look at sports bars on Sundays.  They benefit from the Vikes).

My answer is not effected by how crappy they're doing.  They are very important to Minnesota.

If i was a tax payer I would want my money to go to a stadium.  And education.  But mostly a stadium.

If the Vikes left I would be sooooo angry and livid, along with 97% of the Minnesota population.  It would be so dumb for the government to not try and keep one of it's biggest assets.  Would this make me think differently about stadium funding?  yes.  It shows that even though a majority may want something, a minority that complains gets what they wants.  It's all very political haha.  Just build a freckin' stadium.  Not that hard

and seriously who the heck were they calling?  Everyone I've ever talked to said that they'd support a new Vikings stadium.  Absolutley ridiculous stats on the Star Tribune's part.

Kareem keeps trying to turn off my computer.  Whatever I'll probably end up turning his off lol.
What's the difference between Kareem and Darelle Revis?  Revis can defend a receiver.
Wanna hear a joke?  Kareem's D-Back abilities
Why is Kareem's hair so messy?  He can't get a pick

Sponsors

Three teams I enjoy watching are the:
Minnesota Twins
Minnesota Timberwolves
Chicago Cubs
Minnesota Vikings

**the reason i did not choose the Vikings is due to the fact I don't want to do 3 Minnesota teams.  screw it, i'll do the Vikings

Before i get started, I would like to address my support of the Timberwolves.  I do not care if they suck.  Be a true fan!  They totally overhauled their roster this year, and if not for the injury to off season aquisition Martell Webster, i bet we would be around 30 wins this season.  We're still going to get like 25 wins, i'm telling you.  Michael Beasley could be an all star.  He's always had the talent.  It's happening.  This is the year the T-Wolves win back the all the fans that left them after like the 2006 season?  i think that's when we started losing.  I forgot haha.

Target sponsors the Twins and Timberwolves.  This is evident through Target's support in their stadiums (Target Field & Target Center).
This makes sense because Target is a Minnesota-based company.  Everyone in Minnesota loves Target.  Ask any Minnesotan.  Wal-Mart or Target?  If they say Wal Mart, they are probably from like Wisconsin or something.  Or the Dakotas.

I guess i'll do four teams since it's easier.  I do like the Cubs too.  They are my national league team.  Go Cubs.  except if they're playing the Twins.  Ok.

Alright Under Armour sponsors the Cubs.  There are Under Armour logos in the vines in the outfield of Wrigley Field.  This makes sense because Under Armour is a prominent baseball brand, making gloves, cleats, and undershirts.  They're dece.  I do enjoy me some Under Armour.

Mall of America sponsors the Vikings.  They made some lame agreement with the Metrodome so when the Vikings play there it's the Mall of America Field at the Metrodome.  Regardless.  This makes sense because Mall of America is one of the coolest things Minnesota has.  MOA and New Brighton.  The 2 coolest things in Minnesota.  And Target Field.  And First Ave.  Just sayin'
